JOURNEY TOWARDS MY AIM

During the trial by fire of my high school academic career, I committed to building a strong foundation in the three subjects of mathematics, chemistry, and physics. When I started this journey, I was lucky enough to have a natural affinity for these disciplines, which was the beginning of my academic journey.

The most important part of my academic story began when, at the height of my ninth-grade ambitions, I made the decision to enter the hallowed halls of ALLEN CAREER INSTITUTE. It was a choice that would influence my academic path and deepen my comprehension of science.

I performed well in my coaching class as well as in school. For me, juggling school and ALLEN was difficult but doable (reason: I'm smart😜). With the blessing of Tirumala Balaji Perumal, I was chosen for the NSEJS examination's rankers batch. I was informed of this while traveling to Tirupati.

NSEJS was challenging. Even though the rankers batch was competitive, I still loved studying. Unfortunately, COVID19 prevented me from writing NSEJS. The ninth grade ended quickly. I stepped into the 10h grade with a little pressure. In addition to making my parents happy and pleased, I wanted to establish a solid name for myself among my family members by doing well on my boards.

At first, tenth grade was simple. My parents were somewhat comforted by my periodic test results. I eventually became sidetracked, which caused my grades to decline. My score dropped from 95 to 81. Boards were approaching, and I had to write consecutive mock exams administered by my school. Allen was a burden amid the board pressure!

Parents are heartbroken by my pre-board results, and my confidence is shaken. I made a huge mess of it. When my mother saw my results, she began to cry, and I had to comfort her. My father's hope was gone! I began correcting my errors, but for some reason, I was not at all afraid of writing boards. The day before my Tamil exam, I was having fun with my friends when my neighbor, Aunty, asked my mom about my preparation. You can imagine what may have happened—I would have had to go back home and revise.

I must admit that I rather enjoyed the nearly month-long board period. Yes, I am a little bit of a loose canon, but it was so exhilarating and enjoyable. I made the decision to enroll in ALLEN's integrated program during that time in order to improve my JEE ADV rank. I was obviously saddened to have to leave my previous school, BVS. I owe a great deal of gratitude to all of my teachers and friends at BVS for shaping who I am today. Conversely, I felt content that I had reached a mature enough age to make a decision that might alter the course of my life.

After boards concluded, I had an amazing time. I did a lot of things like learn how to ride a bike and eat at my favorite restaurant. All went well when I had a vacation to Sikkim. On May 12, 2023, I was taking pictures of my father in Sikkim's Nathula Pass. My grandmother and my cousin's sister called to inquire about my test results. I was unaware that the findings were made public. In the bitter cold of Nathula Pass, I accessed the link and typed in my Roll No. WHACK! I received a 95% on the results. Although my mother was just as pleased as I was, she had somewhat higher expectations! I received calls from people worldwide and

Although I was relieved that the significant board test phase had come to an end, JEE remained a greater obstacle.
